The former Bishop of Rochester challenges our response to the threat of radical Islam, and discusses complex issues where key Christian values are at stake, including marriage, the modern family, bioethics, freedom and conscience.

Author, The Rt Rev. Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, is the President of the Oxford Centre for Training, Research, Advocacy and Dialogue (OXTRAD). He was Bishop of Rochester from 1994-2009. Prior to that he was the General Secretary of the Church Mission Society (CMS), having been Bishop of Raiwind in Pakistan, where he has both a Christian and a Muslim family background.
